Thomas Northcote was apprenticed to Charles Hutton on the 23rd June 1766, his first mark was entered as a spoonmaker on the 29th August 1776, he went on to enter another 10 marks alone until he went into partnership with George Bourne as plateworkers on the 5th June 1794, the partnership seemed to have ended in 1797 when he went on to enter his final mark, he died in May 1798 aged 49, his widow entered her mark on the 6th June 1798.
