4 Pairs
Charles Hougham entered his mark as a smallworker, 11th January 1769, he appears to have worked for a few years. He went on to enter another 4 marks, on his fourth entry, he entered seven different marks, He is recorded as a Goldsmith in 1790, in partnership with Solomon Hougham, at Aldersgate Street. He died 18th January 1793

This pair are unusual, to have bright cut "legs" on the tongs is a first for this site, the engraving has been done well with an attractive "Adam" styilised flower on each side, also having the "incused" duty mark in one of the bowls with the sterling mark, and the makers name in the other makes them even more unique.
